Why was my card declined?

A declined card almost always comes from your bank rather than from gemblr. Many banks block gambling payments by default, and some block anything they do not recognise.
Before you try again, check your banking app. If you see a declined or pending payment there, do not retry immediately or you can end up paying twice.
Three things that usually fix it. Call your bank and ask them to allow the payment. Try a different card. Or use a wallet such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut Pay or PayPal, which often go through when a raw card payment will not.
