I sent crypto on the wrong network

What to do next, and what we can realistically do.

If you picked the wrong network when sending, the funds do not reach our address and will not credit on their own.

Open a chat straight away with your username, the transaction ID, the coin, and the network you actually used. The transaction ID is the long string of letters and numbers your wallet or exchange shows after sending.

We will check whether the funds are recoverable. Sometimes they are and sometimes they are not, and that depends entirely on which networks were involved, not on us. We will tell you honestly either way rather than leave you waiting.

The way to avoid this is to read the network name on the deposit screen before you send, every time, even if you have done it before.
